A plastic surgeon in Pittsburg noticed that more aging men are considering undergoing cosmetic surgery more often in order to look younger in their work environment, the Pittsburg Post Gazette reported on December 24.
According to the surgeon, individuals who worked longer also wanted to look as young as they felt. A 55-year-old Chicago-based executive patient said that older men who work out to stay physically fit want a face that matches their toned bodies. Though cosmetic surgery patients are still dominated by women, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery President Michael Edwards said that the rate of men undergoing cosmetic surgery is also growing.
