Unlicensed silicone injection practitioner surrenders to authorities after slew of botched jobs

Dallas, Texas entertainer Armani Nicole Davenport, who is known for giving silicone injections even though she is not a licensed practitioner, turned herself in to authorities on Wednesday, November 6 after she was hunted by the police due to complaints coming from people who had received botched jobs.

According to New Orleans police, they have been searching for Davenport, who was born as Larry Tremell Bernard, ever since her alleged negligence caused a woman to sustain critical injuries and be hospitalized.

The Dallas Morning News reported that the victim’s condition became critical after her body rejected the silicone, but that she is now on the process of recovery.

The New Orleans Police Department’s Lieutenant Frank Young said Davenport had been using “something less pure than medical grade silicon” to inject her customers.

Davenport is now incarcerated at the Orleans Parish Prison for negligent injury charges.
